Basically on 9th March 2012 we surprised him with over 60 tributes and he was very moved. It led to a special mix that night. For you to appreciate it, here’s the background info (in Kerri’s words):

10th March 2012 update: Kerri Chandler facebook feeds on day of seeing the first two Tribute pages:

“I am very humbled that everyone took the time out to write this! And Ben for keeping this list so well hidden and then surprised me with it! I am truly blessed to have such great friends. I couldn’t have had any of this or my career with out everyone here on this list! Everyone here helped and inspired me! I love and feel the same about everyone’s here, and what they have given me I am very honored and feel blessed to have such amazing friends! I am choked up and have tears of joy in my eye’s good one! you got me! hope to see everyone soon again! With love always Kerri.”

“I am very humbled at what Ben has done for me, and the comments from my friends and peers. It really made me think about my past and made me want to listen back in to my personal archives, So I have made my mind up that tonight on ustream, I will broadcast a lot of the songs I have done some obvious some never heard of, It was emotional reading the sets of list on the web page. So now I will revisit them myself and see if anyone would like to listen in. so at 6:23 pm New York time I will begin. Feel free to leave comments on my pages. Kerri went into his studio last night, touched and inspired after reading all your/the comments. For the first time ever he revisited his extensive back catalogue and unreleased pieces and played an epic 7.5 hour set, starting at 6:23 (18:23) eastern (23:23 GMT) broadcast live to music family who were live around the world in the chatroom. Luckily he pressed record…….
